First Friends now offering dog training classes

Hosted at Affinity Canine Education in Ollala, First Friends is Now offering small group dog training classes. 
Both ends of the leash will have great fun and learn a lot these classes.

Classes and workshops will soon be offered in Poulsbo at KARE. 

  • KIDS & THEIR DOGS -- $125 for four sessions

    • Family Dog 1, Youth Handler (12 - 17 years-old) Wednesdays 3:30 to 4:15, starting in November 
    • Children can be great dog trainers too! Youth 12 years-old and up are invited to take their very own dogs through training classes together.

  • ALL IN THE FAMILY -- $125 for four sessions

    • Family Dog 1, All in the Family are semi-private classes (only three or four teams per class)  Wednesdays 4:30 to 5:15, and 16 for Youth Handlers (12 - 17 years old) and a mixed class (youth handlers and/or families) Thursdays 11:00 - 11:45, starting in November.
    • This class focuses on the family working together to learn and enjoy each other’s company.

The following workshops are just people, please do not bring family dogs.

  • MOMMY & ME LOVE DOGGIES -- $10 per session

    • Mommy & Me love Doggies is an educational circle time about dogs which often hosts a visiting retired Therapy Dog.
    • Thursdays 10:00 - 10:45, starting in November

  • DOGS & STORKS -- $20 per family

    • November 16, 1:00 – 3:00
    • (adult caregivers only please)
    • Dogs & Storks for families for living with babies and dogs. Many  topics are covered such as: preparation, household management, homecoming, understanding dog body language, and more!

  • DOGS & TODDLERS -- $20 per family

    • November 30, 1:00 – 3:00
    • (adult caregivers only please)
    • Dogs & Toddlers learning  together about the changes in dynamics when baby starts to cruise and crawl, and dogs become more aware of the children in their family.
